Santorini Villa Chryseis may not benefit from direct views over the caldera but instead offers the unique experience of stay in what was originally a traditional Santorinian winery. Built in 1857 and operated as a Canava (winery), this old Santorini wine distillery produced traditional sun-dried wine up till the 1980’s. In 2007, the canava was sensitively renovated and was skillfully turned into Santorini Villa Chryseis, a brilliant blend of its traditional canava architectural originality with sophisticated luxury influences & modern facilities. With all the amenities of a first class hotel and the intimacy of a beautiful home, the villa reveals a warm & elegant ambience through a rich blend of soft earth nuances on its decoration.

Santorini Villa Chryseis is a unique traditional cave house built in two levels with a spacious courtyard.

The ground floor features two elegant bedrooms and an open plan living & sitting area. This spacious sitting area has big sofas with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen, for moments of relaxation and entertainment. Each bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower.

The first floor of the villa hosts another bedroom with a double bed and its own bathroom with shower.

The courtyard leads to an additional, self-contained unit, which consists of a bedroom with a double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen with independent entrance.

From the courtyard, the stairs lead to a sizeable private terrace, where an outdoor Jacuzzi with comfortable sun loungers offer the capability of enjoying the panoramic views of the surrounding area.
