The recent renovation incorporates in authentic yet contemporary manner the island’s finest traditional architectural elements.

Hand-finished “built-in” beds, sofas and tables in organic shapes, sculptured forms and fluid lines. Plastered walls recreate the caldera’s texture in colors ranging from bright white to earthly, elegant pastel hues. Fine screeds on the floors, lime paints and lime wash on the interior and exterior walls, natural materials based on mineral hydraulic binders, mineral aggregates and colored earth…

All elements participate in a charming game of cosines’, of comfort, discreet luxury and quiet sophistication! Villa Marcello is a large luxury house by island standards, around 420m2. The Villa comprises five levels: ground floor, first floor, terrace, Jacuzzi level and basement.

Have a drink, watch the sunset, the Caldera and contemplate under the stars or make wishes, privately or with the company, while the water soothes your bodily strains.

The Kitchen its modern equipment (stove, oven, microwaves, refrigerator, espresso coffee maker and a number of other appliances) bring you back to the present. Conveniently located, it accesses directly and can discreetly service the two yards and the terrace.

WiFi internet access is available everywhere. Fully air-conditioned and centrally heated it is one of the very few luxury residences inhabitable all year round.

The living room is an equally gracious space with high cross-vaulted ceilings, beige textured walls, authentic wooden floors and the large sculptured Venetian mirror. It has hosted legendary “vengeras”, as were called the evening parties of the era with dinner, music and dancing. Aristocratic though it may be, the living room is comfortable and cozy.

To keep in touch with the present, the living room is equipped with a discrete 42” flat screen 3D TV, cable TV and home cinema that facilitates independent sources like iPod, DVD’s etc.

Villa Marcello’s four bedrooms make you feel at home. Beds, mattresses, pillows and linen by Coco-Mat International. All rooms are fully air-conditioned, equipped with central heating for a winter stay and a wireless internet connection. 

On The Ground Floor the suite comes with high vaulted ceilings, king size “built-in” bed, walk-in closet, en suite bathroom and veranda. Also on the ground floor next to the inner terrace suite features grout colored terracotta floor, Cycladic white textured walls, king size double bed, spacious wardrobe and en suite bathroom. On the first floor one bedroom, apart from the vaulted ceiling, the “built in” double bed and textured Cycladic white walls, has its private balcony with stunning views of the sunset and the neighboring islands.

Also on the first floor, overlooking the inner yard, is another bedroom. Apart from the textured Cycladic white walls, king size double bed, spacious wooden wardrobe, this room has two large windows that provide plenty of daylight. The rooms share a common bathroom with a skylight window. 

Villa Marcello can accommodate up to eight people in four bedrooms, according to the following three options: either in four double beds or in three double beds and two single beds or in two double beds and four single beds.
